This check matters when your store publishes more than one language. Hold the product, option and browser fixed, then compare the paths. The Spanish route in the illustration is an example, not a claim about a reported store.
A historical BigCommerce fix
BigCommerce's April 14, 2026 Cornerstone 6.19.1 release notes describe fixes to localized cart-operation URLs and multi-language cart preview. That establishes a real failure class; it does not show that your current theme or another language is broken.
Change the language. Keep the product fixed.
- 01
Save the working path.
On your authorized store, add one available option in the default language. Record the URL and the cart line, then start with an empty cart again.
- 02
Use the store's switcher.
Choose the other published language and repeat the same selection. Record any changed domain, subfolder, currency or redirect; those differences matter to the comparison.
- 03
Locate the first difference.
Compare the add action, drawer, full cart and standard checkout entry. Send your team the two paths and visible result. Do not publish changes to routing based on a screenshot alone.
After the fix, repeat it.
After your team fixes the affected route, repeat both language paths. Check another product separately and stop before submitting customer details or payment.
Where ShopPath helps.
This manual comparison is broader than one ShopPath run. It does not establish full Multi-Storefront, translation, currency or regional coverage.
Use only a store you own or are authorized to test. Stop at checkout entry, before submitting customer details or payment. Testing begins after approval.
