After Add to Cart · A quick check

Picked M. The cart says L.

A success message can hide the wrong option.

Why it matters

The shopper has to notice and correct a choice they already made.

Illustrative example with original generated product imagery. Not a captured test result.

Three things to check.

  1. 01

    Choose one option.

Start with an empty cart. Pick an available size and note the product, option and visible price.

  2. 02

    Add once. Open the cart.

Wait for the response, then inspect the actual cart. A changed badge or success message is only part of the result.

  3. 03

    Compare the details.

Check size, color, quantity and price against your selection. Save both views if something differs.

After the fix, repeat it.

After your team fixes the issue, repeat the original selection and one other option. Keep the new cart screenshot beside the earlier one.

Where ShopPath helps.

ShopPath provides checkpoint screenshots your team can compare after a change. One encountered product path does not establish that every variant works.

Use only a store you own or are authorized to test. Stop at checkout entry, before submitting customer details or payment. Testing begins after approval.
