Before an ad goes live · A quick check

Your ad is live. The product is sold out.

Check the exact item and option your ad promotes.

Why it matters

A shopper arrives interested in the offer and has no usable next step for that choice.

Three things to check.

  1. 01

    Open the actual ad link.

Use the destination URL, including its campaign parameters. A working homepage does not establish that this link works.

  2. 02

    Try the advertised option.

Check the promoted size or color, its availability and visible price. Another available option does not validate the advertised one.

  3. 03

    Follow it into the cart.

If it is available, add it and compare the details. Open checkout entry and stop. Review any later discount separately.

After the fix, repeat it.

Ask your team to correct an unavailable offer or destination, then repeat the same link. Recheck when the promotion, stock or storefront changes.

Where ShopPath helps.

ShopPath checks an approved storefront’s encountered shopping path. Campaign destinations, ad targeting and offer eligibility still need their own review.

Use only a store you own or are authorized to test. Stop at checkout entry, before submitting customer details or payment. Testing begins after approval.
